yeah, i am still homesick for montreal as well. i'm resigned to that. last time i was there, i didn't even go into the city, but stayed in laval and, ville st. laurent with my aunt and then my brother. i'd like to go for a visit and walk downtown from cote st. luc, or at least snowdon. i remember standing at the corner of van horne and victoria one day, just standing there. i used to walk past that corner every day on the way to northmount, it was also near where we used to go ice skating, at van horne park, and breathing in the air that actually smelled familiar. i also remember walking the blocks on st. lawrence, from bernard to fairmont, shocked at how quickly i travelled; it seemed like an insurmountable distance as a child. i think because it is the city of my youth, i will never not miss it.
