bissett book bash

this image is familiar because it's based on the cover of the book i wrote about here. i mentioned the party in that item but am repeating it because now there is a poster and a bit more information. if you're in vancouver on the 18th you should come because i think this will be a fun time. here's more info from the editors' email: we thought we'd share with you the poets who have agreed to read, honour, and rage with bill. it's an xcellent line-up. a historic night uv lunarian proporshyuns. we're asking each poet to limit their piece(s) to 5 minutes. as it is, it'll be a full night, and we want to allow enough time for bill to read and rage with us all. few other things: sheryl mackay from cbc's north by northwest will be emcee'n the evening and is interested in doing a feature on the celebration. also, we're a little short on the ironworks rental fee, and are hoping to raise money at the door through a suggested donation/raffle ticket. if you'd like to donate a book, it would be greatly appreciated. any money raised in excess of the rental fee, we'd like to put towards drinks/snacks for the people reading. thanks so much for all your postive responses to the book. that, and bill's reaction, has made ithis three year journey a most radiant danse indeed. looking forward to raging with you all, more as it comes, jeff n rox p.s. please feel free to spread the word!
