<description>Wow! I just googled my old hs teacher&#039;s name Norman Pycock and I&#039;m at your site. It was 1950 at Montreal High. Mr Pycock was my home teacher. Half way through grade 8 I was in a car accident and in a coma for a week. Flunked that year and was in Pycock&#039;s class for my second try at Gr. 8. Flunked that also! My parents moved me to Westhill High and guess who was my teacher again. Yes Norman Pycock. The next year he wrote me a nice letter of recommendation when I applied for a job at Dominion Bank. Years later, I took my 6 year old son to visit my old High school and guess who was standing in the office as we opassed by. Yes NEP!
I was dissapointed in that he truly did not remember me.
Other teachers I remember from MHS were Grace Fletcher and Mr Balaban and a biology teacher who suffered from shell shock from his experiences in WWII.
The only teacher from Westhill HS that I remember is the music teacher Miss Shields. Hope some of this brings memories to readers.
